We guess someone told you that’s impossible, but maybe s/he has never been along the beach of Silvi, in Abruzzo. Instead, we are very happy and satisfied to tell you the prizes our territory gained in 2019 as a beach among the most beautiful ones of the Country.

Silvi is a part of the territory of Cerrano, where the Marine Protected Area is located too. In 2019, the Cerrano beach has been awarded with 4 “sails” by Legambiente (one of the most important green associations in Italy) and Touring Club Italiano, in the ranking “Il mare più bello” (The most beautiful sea). What does it mean? Our beach is an excellence, with good touristic services and an amazing land made of nature, culture and history.
Blue Flag and Green Flag: a clean and children friendly sea
More good news for you from Silvi: in 2019 we’ve been awarded of the Blue Flag, because of our clean sea, and also of the Green Flag. This is a merit pediatricians give to the children friendly beaches.
Silvi is a good idea, to spend time with family but also with friends, diving into a sea that has always been shaping the histories of our community.
What to do on the beach in Silvi
In this wonderful beach in the centre of Italy, in Abruzzo, you can relax on the white fine sands that shapes a low sea bottom, with a walkable foreshore. On the shore there are many kiosks that rent umbrellas and provide services to the bathers, including food and leisure.
If you’re not made to keep idly on the chaise longue, you can also practise sports as beach volley, beach soccer, beach tennis, running, swimming etc. Almost every kiosk has playgrounds where you can spend a good time with family and friends. You can also work out to keep in a good shape during your holidays.
